ADVANTAGES

Even wider compatibility

The “az-smart pro” system can be used not only to control Tuya-compatible devices but also to integrate almost any smart system. So, all our smart devices are accessible from a single application, be they IKEA, Philips Hue, Samsung, Gardena, Shelly, SonOff, TP-Link smart devices, Gree, Daikin air conditioners, Hikvision cameras, etc.

Operation without internet service

The local server reaches the wifi devices via a fixed IP address on the internal network. One of the biggest advantages of this is that all smart functions will work even if the internet connection is down, as they are not stored in the cloud but on the local server. With our mobile devices, PCs we can control our devices from both internal and external networks. We can query our devices on the internal network up to several times per second with "impunity".

Support for control from an Internet browser or tablet

The system supports control from any browser, mobile or tablet application.

Full customization to suit your needs

The Home Assistant user interface offers a wide range of customization options. The devices installed in the system can be easily grouped in transparent groups, so that their operation and the data they provide, such as the temperature of the rooms in the building or the lighting in the building, can be seen at a glance.

OPERATING CONDITIONS

Local server

az-smart PRO requires a local server, i.e., a mini-server. For example, a Raspberry PI 4 single-board computer (about the size of a cigarette packet) is suitable, but there are also single-board computers with higher capacity (Odriod C4, Odroid N2, Khadas VIM3 Pro, etc.) which are also suitable. Some NAS can run a virtual machine (e.g., Synology's Intel processor NAS), which is also suitable for this purpose. In addition, any server machine that supports virtualization can be used to run a smart home server.

SYSTEM SUPPORT

The system may also include a monthly fee.

This includes an agreed amount of remote maintenance and remote access to the local server. This is needed if you do not have fixed IP Internet access but would like to operate your system remotely. This cloud service only provides access to the server, does NOT store any data, and can back up the local server daily/weekly etc. on request.

USER INTERFACE

The Home Assistant, which is the basis of az-smart PRO, offers a wealth of possibilities. Freely editable views, user-defined groupings are all possible. The most frequently used functions can be displayed in one view, but you can also group them by device type or room.

This can be a great advantage for corporate partners, e.g., when managing or maintaining a property, as they can be quickly and remotely informed of any malfunction of the equipment.

Displayed on a wall-mounted 10" Android tablet (Teclast P20HD), the frames are currently available in white and black. Wooden frames will be available soon, in any color.

LIGHTING

Smart lighting combines comfort with energy efficiency and is now a standard feature in a smart home, but it can also be used to make your home unique.

LED smart bulbs, combined with light and motion sensors, not only greatly reduce energy consumption, but can also positively influence our mood, for example, when combined with RGB LED strips, by customizing the intensity, color, and color temperature of the light to suit the time of day and our daily routine.

If required, it is also possible to integrate wall switches already installed, so there is no need to replace them. New wireless switches can also be installed without the need for subsequent wall opening or wiring.

The highest level of comfort can be provided by automating lighting and linking it to other functions. For example, when you arrive home in the evening, the garage door opens automatically and the garage lights, interior lighting leading to the living area, or garden lighting are connected.

Intelligent lighting can be part of a smart home presence simulation, for example by switching on the lights randomly when we are away, simulating our stay at home, and actively contributing to the protection of our property.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT

Sockets can be controlled, and meters can be read remotely.

Wall Socket control
With the programmable smart sockets and connectors equipped with a consumption meter, electric devices can be controlled remotely, monitoring their energy consumption. No  more forgotten power consumers are turned on, they can be turned off from anywhere using the app.

Remote reading of meters
Wondering how much you spent at home in your electric car, or would you read the consumption of your holiday home remotely? This is also possible with meters connected to a  smart home! Our system is also suitable for industrial use, we sell smart meters with a load capacity of 3x100A.

Track the consumption of car chargers

Data logs and analysis
An important element of energy management is the hourly/daily/weekly/monthly/annual statement. For example, if you have a solar system, you can also graphically monitor the energy received from the electrical network, used by the solar panels, and returned to the network.

HEATING AND COOLING CONTROL

One of the most important smart home features is temperature control, which contributes greatly to increasing the energy efficiency of the property and thus reducing costs.

Your existing heating/cooling system can be made smart - be it gas or electric, heat pump, geothermal, underfloor, ceiling, or wall heating. Depending on the weather and the use of  the room, it is even possible to set the desired temperature for each room individually, which contributes greatly to residents' comfort and cost-efficiency. The system is also remotely accessible, so you can override the pre-set values from your smartphone at any time if you deviate from your daily routine. But with remote access, you can also set the temperature in your holiday home to the right temperature, setting the cooling or heating time so that you're greeted at the right temperature when you arrive.

In addition to the Smart Thermostats, you can also integrate Wi-Fi-capable air conditioners into your system. If the air conditioner does not support a Wi-Fi connection, we can integrate these older air conditioners into our system using Broadlink’s smart IR/RF remote control.

Many of the newer heating systems (gas boilers, heat pump boilers, etc.) have a smart module, and in the vast majority of cases, these can be easily integrated. For older systems, we can build a remote monitoring system with industrial temperature sensors.

SHADING

Motorized shutter and curtain control offer complete convenience by integrating into the smart home system so that their movement can be automated in groups, according to light conditions and outside temperature, saving operating time. Proper shading also plays a major role in increasing the energy efficiency of our property.

Outdoor shading can also be automated depending on the time of day and the weather.

The lighting and shading scenes can even be linked to a specific activity, for example, despite the sun entering the living room, moving the blinds and providing the right mood lighting can create a pleasant environment for watching a movie.

In the az-smart PRO system, we can not only move the shutters with the shutter controls we sell, but we can also integrate existing radio remote controlled shutters into our system, using the teachable IR/RF smart remote control from Broadlink.

IRRIGATION

An irrigation system integrated into a smart system is more cost-effective and more feature-rich than similar systems from traditional or more familiar brands. Our irrigation controllers are designed to operate classic 24V AC operated irrigation valves. The device manages 8 zones and is connected to a WiFi network. It irrigates according to a pre-programmed schedule, considering the weather forecast for the geographical location. The pre-programmed watering schedule can be remotely overridden or overridden at any time.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS

In many places, special, specific needs may arise. For example, the need to isolate the power supply to a gas boiler. More modern boilers are sensitive to the signal fidelity of the sine wave produced by the various inverters. In the case below, we have installed a Victron Energy inverter, typically designed for boats, with 2190 Ah working batteries. The power input and output of the inverter and the charge level of the batteries can be monitored.

WEATHER STATION

For domestic, hospitality, agricultural and industrial use, knowing the current weather can be important. Whether it is a matter of retracting large umbrellas in high winds or shutting down irrigation, the integration of a weather station can be a solution.

INDUSTRIAL USE

We offer industrial temperature sensors and thermostats. Our thermostats can control either cooling or heating in the range -30 °C to 150 °C with arbitrarily adjustable hysteresis. The example below shows the control of heating/cooling of the fermentation/storage tanks of the Sárossy winery in Tarcal.
